Each of our tables is entirely unique and unlike any other in the entire kingdom. All tabletops are crafted from a single plank of solid wood, and you can choose from various types of hardwood. Over the past 10 years, we have refined our technique and production, but nature still determines and defines each individual table.

At emmanordic, you can get a plank table that fits perfectly into your home, whether it should be dark or light, long or short, narrow, or wide. All our tables are made of solid wood and, therefore, have an extremely long lifespan. Over the years, the tabletop becomes more rustic and acquires a beautiful patina that you can enjoy. However, if you prefer to restore your “old” table, you can choose to sand the surface and give it a new finish.
PLANK TABLES IN OAK
You can get plank tables in many different wood types. At emmanordic, we specialize in working with plank tables in oak. When you buy an oak plank table from emmanordic, you are buying a part of Danish history. Oak has been used for decades for the Danish navy, supplying timber for the ships. Therefore, historically, many oak trees have been planted in Denmark. This contributes to emmanordic being able to deliver oak plank tables of the highest quality.
PLANK TABLES WITH ROOTS IN DANISH HISTORY
After the Battle of Copenhagen in 1807, the English seized the Danish naval fleet. Therefore, a royal decree was issued to plant new oak forests so that there would be material for new warships in the future. However, technological developments in the following 200 years eliminated the need for navy oak, and that’s why we can now offer unique furniture made from giant oak planks with roots in Danish history.

It’s quite simple: The price varies depending on the type, size, wood type, and thickness, but it starts from around DKK 20,000 for the smaller tables. The price also varies depending on whether it is a single-plank table or a table with 2-3 planks. LEGS FOR PLANK TABLES
At emmanordic, we have designed our own unique legs for our tables. We have four different types, so you can choose the legs that suit your home. All our table legs are produced by our local blacksmith using powder-coated iron profiles, ensuring 100% stability. Despite the substantial weight of the tabletop, there is no compromise in stability.
